Indycar Series to use pure ethanol for the 2007 season
Alternative fuels have received much attention lately because of the growing awareness of global warming and the dedication of the Government of the United States to reduce dependence on foreign oil. Several companies in the industry of alternative fuels have made great leap in the development of fuels that can be substituted for gasoline.
Biodiesel is an alternative fuels being developed with ethanol. Currently, there are already cars and vehicles on the road that run on fuel composed of ethanol and gasoline. The use of ethanol is largely supported by the government since it is proven to reduce emissions of greenhouse gas emissions.
Recently, ethanol as a substitute for gasoline, has found a new ally in the shape of the IndyCar Series. The single-seater racing series highlighted by the famous Indianapolis 500 will use pure ethanol as fuel for next season.
The series will be the history of motor sport when he opened the season with the XM Indy Satellite Radio 300 on March 24 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The race series will be the first motorsports that will use pure ethanol as fuel for the 3.5 provided Honda Indy V8. Using ethanol in vehicles such as those used in the races is a good choice because the fuel has characteristics that agree on the need for more power from these cars. Ethanol has an octane rating higher than methanol. This means that ethanol is more resistant than the premature explosion of methanol used previously.

What do you think of Barber Motorsports Park be added to the Indycar schedule for 2010?
According http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2009/07/indy_car_race_coming_to_barber.html section, they will be announced Monday. The IRL has yet to eliminate an oval shape and add a route. What do you think will be oval deleted? Road circuit that will be added?
Great! Fans showed great support during the tests. If they eliminate an oval, it would be between Milwaukee, Richmond or Miami. But I doubt they announce Miami is not on the calendar to 2010 before running it. Milwaukee has six different groups of developers who want to buy the title to look like they will return next season. Richmond is the only track left so I guess it will be deleted if an oval must go. Terry Angstadt said in the past they have even parity between ovals and road courses in 2010. In the link below, he also said that they will be 17 races in 2010. So I think that Cleveland will be back for 2010 as this is the only one they have talked about running a double header in which they race on an oval and road course the next day. At least that's the only way I see the IRL to maintain parity between ovals and road courses for the season next. Then again during multiple could be dropped from the schedule this year since addition Lanigan Cleveland is also the developer of the streets of Houston and lobbied for a race in Baltimore Harbor.

NASCAR Tickets – NASCAR Nationwide Series Danica Patrick's waiting Back
Danica Patrick is now kneeling in a season (so far unsuccessfully) with the Indy Racing League, but after the smoke of the Indianapolis 500 allows it to move slowly back into the tail of the NASCAR season with JR Motorsports. Attempts young Patrick in the race of the NASCAR Nationwide Series this year were, at best, uncertain date, but the field is racing stock still looking forward to his return to the oval tracks next month.
Patrick ran in three races of NASCAR (February 13 at Daytona Feb. 20 to Feb. 27 at Fontana and Las Vegas) with the Nationwide Series in early spring before jumping into a full series with the IRL, and although his attempts to cross were somewhat of a flop so far, the darling of the media is always a valuable asset on both circuits. Patrick which is currently in 16th place in the standings with IRL driver, took the criticism that his recent warm Indycar finishes have been affected by its passage with NASCAR, but the spokesman GoDaddy quickly rejected that idea.
Talking Racer.com and defend his decision to run both NASCAR and the IndyCar schedule this year, Patrick has answered a question about the negative impact it had on NASCAR IRL season, saying: "I think it just a very easy thing to do, something easy to explore and a convenient excuse. I do not think there is something to it. I return to the good old days – the racers led all kinds of racing cars and nobody thinks he has nothing. In fact, we must add. It's just an unfortunate situation and there no other answer. "
