Tomas Scheckter?
Do any of you think that he can win at Indy this year? He was 3rd fastest today.
He needs luck, he came So close so many times.
It’s still early days at Indianapolis and Tuesday was only the first day of practice open to all drivers. Tomas Scheckter was one of six drivers to post a speed of 224 (mph) or better –
Dan Wheldon (225.074), Helio Castroneves (224.996),
Tomas Scheckter (224.783), Tony Kanaan (224.622), Scott Dixon (224.564) and Danica Patrick (224.457).
Before qualifications begin on Saturday, if the conditions remain favourable, I expect the speeds to creep up quite a bit.
Can Tomas Scheckter win the Indianapolis 500? Certainly he can, but, like the other 32 drivers in the field, he’ll need a little luck to go along with his obvious talent.
